a winter's day in paris
Mon, 30 11, 09: 5.10 AM
I went to go see the new film "An Education" last night and Paris played an integral part in Jenny's {the protagonist} life. Naturally, that had me reminiscing about my favorite city and I thought I'd post some photos that I snapped my last day in Paris in February. {Click image to enlarge!}

I cannot wait for this movie to come out in France! Your photos are beautiful!!
If you haven't already, read this piece written by Lynn Barber, the author of "An Education"... it's extremely moving!

Thank you so much Lindsey! I actually took all the photos with my point-and-shoot-- I can't wait to go back with my fancy pants camera {sooner rather than later, i hope!} My camera battery actually died while in Paris and I had quite an adventure replacing it. The guys @ BHV sent me to a Piles Expert on rue Delambre in the 14th, it was a totally old-school shop with old Parisians who needed the batteries replaced in their ancient radios. Classic!
Merci! Definitely go see the film -- the actress who plays Jenny is amazing in the role and Rosamund Pike's wardrobe is to die for!
